GARDEN CITY, New York (March 17, 2017) The Cradle of Aviation Museum celebrated its 6th annual "Salute to Women in STEM" event, featuring pioneers like Bonnie Tiburzi Caputo, the first female commercial pilot; Chelsea Engberg, CEO of Aviatrix and aerobatic pilot; and LT Natalie Schibell, MSC, USN. Moderated by News 12 Long Island's Carol Silva, the event aimed to inspire young girls to pursue careers in STEM through motivational stories and insights from the panelists.
