Dr. Michael Riesberg, MD, US Navy (Ret.)

Dr. Michael Riesberg, an esteemed ENT physician and Pensacola’s acclaimed “Opera Doc,” is celebrated for his medical expertise, leadership, vision, and philanthropic endeavors. Since founding the Riesberg Institute in 2001, he has built a premier destination medical practice in Northwest Florida, specializing in sinus, hearing, and voice treatments. Known for his friendly manner, extensive knowledge, and exceptional skillset, Dr. Riesberg is highly regarded by his patients.

Deeply passionate about his community, Dr. Riesberg is actively involved with numerous charity organizations, including Pensacola Opera, Capstone Academy, ARC Gateway, Independence for the Blind, American Cancer Society, Covenant Hospice, Trinitas Christian School, Council on Aging, Pine Forest High School, and Pine Summit Baptist Church. As a board-certified otolaryngologist, he is affiliated with several professional associations, such as the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Escambia County Medical Association (President in 2009), Military Officers Association of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and York Rite Masonic Lodge.

Daniel Schatz, Navy Veteran

Daniel Schatz is the business owner of Beauty in Motion, specializing in building the most elite med spa vans in the world. As a retired Naval Officer with a diversified background, Daniel has extensive experience in talent acquisition, emergency management, intelligence, readiness, operational planning, and tactics. He holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. His leadership roles within the military industry have equipped him with a robust skillset, making him an asset to our board.

Ronald Emerson, RN, BSN, Marine Corps Veteran

Secretary

Ron Emerson brings global healthcare experience and expertise in business development, strategy, telehealth, and digital patient engagement delivery models and technology. He currently serves as the Global Head of Healthcare Strategy at Samsung Electronics. Previously, he held key positions at Zoom Video Communications, AMD Global Telemedicine, Inc., and Polycom, where he managed international business and contract negotiations. Ron's strategic leadership and regulatory compliance background significantly contribute to our board.

Christopher Wimmer, Navy Veteran

Director

With over 20 years of military experience and a business acumen that brings valuable insights to organizational decision-making, Chris Wimmer has served in various capacities within the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Bureau of Navy Medicine, U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations Command, and U.S. Navy Recruiting Command. His core competencies include project management, process improvement, talent acquisition/sales, accounting/auditing, and strategic planning. Chris has successfully led resource-sharing initiatives and improved healthcare delivery operations, aligning with the DHA's mission.

LeArlino Bluitt, Navy Veteran (Ret.)

LeArlino Bluitt recently retired from the US Navy, where he served as an Environmental Health Officer. He is a graduate of New York Medical College. Detailed biography to be added.

Odniel Gonzalez, Air Force Veteran

Director

Odniel Gonzalez is a technology enthusiast with a strong background in programming, networking, and cybersecurity. He holds certifications in Security+ and CCNA and is currently attending Level Effect's Cyber Defense Analyst Bootcamp. Daniel is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and possesses extensive skills in Linux CLI, programming, Cisco networking, security testing, and intelligence collection and analysis. His passion for continuous learning and hands-on experience in cybersecurity makes him a valuable addition to our board.

Martha Foss, Army Veteran

Head of Legal

Martha Foss is an experienced attorney and mediator with expertise in employment law, contracts, risk/compliance, ethics, and complex investigations. She is an active member of both the Georgia and Arkansas bars and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Martha thrives in fast-paced, complex environments and excels in driving creative, legal, and ethically sound business solutions. Her professional associations include the Sports Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association, Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industry.

Matthew Weldy, BSN, RN, Navy (Ret.)

Director

Matthew Weldy brings over 23 years of experience in healthcare recruiting and business development. He has a proven track record of connecting qualified and compassionate medical professionals with rewarding opportunities. Matthew has successfully executed complex sales cycles and negotiated agreements with key decision-makers in his assigned territory. Recognized as a top performer and innovator, he was selected as the 2017 US Navy National Healthcare Recruiter of the Year and led the launch of the U.S. Navy's LinkedIn Pilot Program to target new business via social media prospecting. Passionate about health education, healthcare consulting, and staffing services, Matthew is a team player and leader with exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. His experience and dedication make him a confident and valuable member of our board.
