GARDEN CITY, New York (March 17, 2017) The Cradle of Aviation Museum hosted its 6th annual "Salute to Women in STEM" event, honoring trailblazers like Bonnie Tiburzi Caputo, the first female commercial pilot; Chelsea Engberg, CEO of Aviatrix and aerobatic pilot; and LT Natalie Schibell, MSC, USN. The event, mediated by News 12 Long Island's Carol Silva, inspired young girls to pursue STEM careers through stories of perseverance and passion from the distinguished panelists.
